The Michigan Construction Trades Safety Institute (MCTSI) was organized in 1997 by Labor-Management Representatives from the Laborers, Carpenters and Operating Engineers. These Michigan building trades believed that First Aid/CPR training not only made good safety sense, but it also further promoted the well trained organized building trades in our State. Today, over 50 groups participate in the program and over 5,000 people are trained annually.
